“Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them” (Psalm 119:165, KJV).

THANK GOD! We could be back for Chinese New Year and for Dara’s medical appointment: blood test on 30 Jan and a radioactive iodine scan on 2 Feb. Dara has to stop taking thyroid hormone tablets (Thyroxine) since 31 Dec 2011 until the body scan is done. She was also advised not to eat anything containing iodine for two weeks before the scan. During this period, there will be some side effects, such as body aches, muscle cramps, tiredness, gaining weight, emotionally down, feeling cold and numb etc. So, we are trying not to move around too much. Please pray for her for strength to cope with her current condition and for complete recovery from her illness.

THANK GOD also for blessing Dara in her studies thus far. She has completed all her exams before coming to Singapore. She is now working hard to produce a curriculum to teach parents how to train children God’s way. May God grant her wisdom in her writing that it will be beneficial to many a parent in the near future who desires to bring up their children according to the blueprints the Creator God had designed them to be!

THANK GOD for every opportunity to serve Him over the Christmas week. Thank God also for Brother Peigang who helped especially with the music and props. He is gifted in arts and music and is using his gifts faithfully in the ministry. As usual, there were gospel outreaches at the Christian Home of Love and the Pu Men mountain, beside the Christmas Family Gathering, night Caroling, and Christmas service. Our theme for Christmas 2011 was “the Second Coming of Christ.” The boys acted out from Matthew 24:45-51 - “The Unfaithful Servants”, the girls from Matthew 25: 1-12 – “The Ten Virgins” and the little children from John 10 – “Jesus, The Good Shepherd.” In additional to the performance, there were slide shows on the Birth of Christ and the End of the World etc. PRAISE GOD! The turnout was good. The messages challenged the audiences to repent from their sins and to turn to Jesus Christ before His second advent, as it is written, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” (2 Peter 3:9-12, KJV).

PRAISE GOD! Two persons were baptised on 25 December 2011. Joshua and Jemima are brother and sister. They are Red Lahus from Myanmar. Jemima came to Thailand about 8 years ago. She is married and has a daughter 5 years old. In March last year, she approached us for work. We employed her to serve at CHOL. Since then, we have been preaching Christ to her and praying for her salvation. PRAISE THE LORD! In September, God opened her heart and granted her “repentance unto life” (Acts 11:8). As for Joshua, he came to us about 3 years ago. We took him in and by the grace of God, he has come to faith in Christ during his stay at CHOL. PRAISE THE LORD! Jesus says, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:7-8, KJV). Are you born again? Jemima and Joshua have a younger brother named Joel who has been with us since 2004. Know what? Joel was the first among the three whom God has given repentance and “forgiveness of sins” (Acts 5:31, KJV). PRAISE THE LORD! It is really amazing to see how gracious our God is in saving the souls of this family. GLORY TO HIS NAME!

The rebuilding of the Home is still in process. We are now constructing the columns for level 3 and thereafter the beams. Do pray for wisdom and safety in the work. This project was going a bit slow at the last quarter of last year due to many other commitments in the Church and Home. Just recently, our contractor was diagnosed with oral cancer. He is undergoing treatment. Do pray for healing of body and soul. We are witnessing to him. May God be merciful!

Do uphold all the residents at the Christian Home of Love in prayer. May God keep them faithful and away from temptation! “For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect” (Psalm 18:31-32, KJV).

Do remember also the ministry of the Truth Bible-Presbyterian Church in prayer. Deacon John is chairing the worship service every Lord’s Day and preaching God’s Word during our absence. Thank God for him.

May God grant him wisdom and utterance!

We will be returning Thailand on 8 Feb 2012. Thanks for your prayer.

THANKSGIVING TO GOD - from Robert & Dara Peh

“For them that honour Me I will honour, and they that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed” (1 Samuel 2:30, KJV).

THANK GOD! The Seminar on Saturday went on well and smoothly. The Lord has indeed done wondrous things for us. Thanks for praying. Dara’s lecturer and classmates were very happy with the entire event and were still talking about it on the next day when we met them. They kept telling us like what we said many times in the Seminar “Thank God.” Some wanted us to know for sure that they really meant what they said, so they added, “we said from our hearts.” PRAISE THE LORD!

THANK GOD for the Pastors and church leaders and brothers and sisters in Christ who came and who shared from the Bible and from their life experiences concerning the importance of the Word of God in their family life and in using it to teach their children. THANK GOD for all that He has done. Dara’s lecturer and classmates said that they have gained much and they truly enjoyed participating in such a Seminar. ALL GLORY TO GOD!

Though it was an University Seminar, thank God for giving us the strength and courage to conduct it from a Christian approach, opening with a message and prayer, singing Christian song together, reading from the Bible and talking about God and His Word and closing with prayer.

GOD IS ALWAYS SO GOOD! He has granted us good favour in the sight of her lecturer and non-Christian friends. This reminded us of Joseph in Genesis 39.

“And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD [was] with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all [that] he had he put into his hand” (Genesis 39:2-4, KJV).

“But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that [were] in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer [of it]. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing [that was] under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and [that] which he did, the LORD made [it] to prosper” (Genesis 39:21-23, KJV).

When we Christians seek to put God first, God could also give us good favour in the eyes of the people around us. And not only that, God could always grant us good success in all that we do for His glory.

May we be challenged to continue to live for God everyday to the praise and glory of His Name! Amen!

Dara’s Seminar - Praise & Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh (10 August 2011)

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6, KJV).

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, KJV).

Praise the Lord! This coming Saturday (13 August 2011), Dara will be conducting a Seminar at Chiang Mai for her doctoral course. The topic (translated literally from the Thai) is: “Building People Building Country Beginning from the Homes Starting from Infancy According to the Christian Philosophy.”

Outline:

1. What does the Bible say about child-raising?

2. Why is it important to use the Word of God to develop the children’s lives?

3. Why is it necessary that the parents should follow the teaching of the Bible in order to thoroughly equip their children unto all good works (2 Tim 3:16), that they might be good citizens of and bring blessings to the nation.

There will be about 10 participants with one main guest speaker. We have also invited some Christian friends both young and old to be there as audiences. The 10 participants (or more) will all be sitting around the table and talk among themselves on the assigned topic with Dara’s lecturer and classmates seated on the same table listening. Thereafter, Dara’s lecturer and classmates will be given time to ask questions concerning the subject matter.

Thank God that Dara could conduct such a Seminar to emphasise the importance of raising children God's way. We pray that through this Seminar, her non-Christians friends will be more receptive to the Bible and to Christianity as well as the Christians audiences will find it beneficial in their lives and families and be greatly blessed. Some pastors and church leaders have already agreed to attend. Some couldn’t make it. We are still trying to invite a few more to come. Pray that the Lord may grant all the participants His wisdom to expound on this pertinent issue on that day.

The Seminar will begin at 1 pm to 4 pm followed by a dinner reception. Her lecturer and classmates are from Chiang Rai and Phayao provinces and they will be travelling to Chiang Mai on that day. 2 students have yet to confirm their coming. All of them are non-Christians. May the Lord work in their hearts through the Seminar.

We are still in the midst of the preparation. Dara is still writing on a 10-page paper on the topic of the Seminar to be distributed on that day to everyone who comes. There will also be powerpoint presentation too. Pray that she will complete her work by Thursday. We hope to go Chiang Mai earlier (either on Thursday or Friday) to pay a personal visit to all whom we have invited for the Seminar. Please uphold us in prayer.

Praise & Prayer for John, Isaac & Evangel from Robert & Dara Peh (3 August)

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV).

Thank God that John has passed his exams in April. This term, he has two subjects to study: (1) Fundamental of Agricultural Resources Management & Environment and (2) Animal Health Science, for his Bachelor of Agricultural Programme in Agricultural Extension.

Thank God also for helping Evangel in his English examination (English for Communication) last semester, which was his first exam for his Bachelor of Arts Program in English. This term, he is taking English for Interaction.

However, Isaac did not make it through the exam. Nevertheless, thank God for the experience he had gained. He will not be taking any exam this time round as the university did not open the subject that he had registered for this term. So, he will have to wait for the next semester.

John and Evangel will be sitting for their exams this coming Saturday (6 August). Evangel has only one paper to do in the morning but John has two, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

THANK GOD. Evangel has already completed reading his two English textbooks and is now doing his revision. John has one last textbook out of four to read. Please pray for their preparation and their upcoming exams. May God grant them good memory and good success!

CHOL Rebuilding Project - Praise and Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh (1 August 2011)

THANK GOD! The rebuilding of the dormitories at the Christian Home of Love is progressing steadily though we have been so occupied with so many things. Thank God that the foundation of the building has been completed and the columns for level one were up. We are still working on the beams for level 2. It is now the rainy season and is not a good time for construction. Do pray for good weather and for safety in the work. Besides this, the residents here are also busying in the corn and paddy fields. May the Lord grant us strength and joy in His service every day!

22 April 2011 - Praise & Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh

“Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25, KJV).

THANK GOD for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday whereby we could commemorate the death and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ over death and sin for His people, as it is written, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:55-57, KJV). It has been raining for the past few days. When it rains, it often causes power failure to the entire village. Do pray for good weather when we hold the Good Friday Service (22 Apr.) at 7 pm and that there will be no power failure. Our Easter “Sonrise” Service (24 Apr) will begin at 6 am this coming Lord’s Day. Robert will be the preacher for the two events and Dara the interpreter. Pray God to speak to His people through His Word.

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136:1, KJV). On Tuesday (19 April), Dara went to the University to present the topic for her doctoral dissertation. THANK GOD for granting her good success and much favour in the sight of her lecturers. She went with much prayer and by the grace and mercy of God, she was the only one in the class given the approval to proceed with the thesis. “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations” (Deuteronomy 7:9, KJV).

God willing, Dara will be writing about Child Care and Training: The Christian Approach. The topic would be sharpened again. Besides writing a thesis, she would be producing a day to day family activity workbook based on the Word of God for parents to use with their children from birth to 3 years old. May the Lord grant her strength to complete the task that He has called her to do! Please continue to pray for her. She senses that her brain is much weaker now. Nowaday, when she studies, she easily feels headache. Do pray for full recovery, including her mental health and emotional condition. She lost quite a lot of weight recently and is getting thinner. Her appetite for food is also not so good. Please pray that she will eat well and put on more weight and able to serve the Lord with stronger body.

On Saturday, 23 A pril (9 am – 12 pm), John, Isaac and Evangel will be taking their opened University examinations. They are pursuing a bachelor’s degree. It will be the first time for Isaac and Evangel to sit for such an exam. Pray that they may have wisdom to answer all the questions. May God help them!

Through the fire incident, we are once again reminded of what God said in Isaiah 55:9, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” God is so good and God knows what we need and how to provide. After the dorms were burned down, we prayerfully waited upon the Lord to see how He was going to bring us through this event and ultimately, work out His higher plan in our lives. We have no idea then when we would have the resources to start the reconstruction but God knew. God compelled His people to give sacrificially. We need not ask anyone at all. PRAISE the LORD! “They shall praise the LORD that seek Him” (Psalm 22:26b, KJV).

Then, money began to come in. In February, we received a total of 686,772.95 Baht. In March, another 1,123,328.35 Baht flew in. In April, yet another 475,177.12 Baht was collected. In a period of 2 months, God has provided 2,285,278.42 Baht for the CHOL rebuilding Project. PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS! Thank God also for every cheerful giver. On behalf of the Christian Home of Love, we thank you for your financial support and prayer for us and the ministry. The Bible says, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8, KJV).

The Bible teaches not to despise the day of small beginnings (Zech.4:10a). God has seen all that we have done for Him all these years. We are convinced that God knows it’s time for us to reconstruct some of the old buildings after 10 years of ministry here. We have made a calculation of the entire rebuilding cost and it is estimated to be 2,800,000.00 Baht. Echoing the prayer of King Asa, “LORD, it is nothing with Thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on Thee…” (2 Chronicles 14:11, KJV).

If the Lord be willing, the new building will have 3 stories: girls’ dorm at level one, boys’ dorm at level 2 & laundry at level 3. We have included 3 rooms for visitors as the bamboo guesthouse (built in 2003) where the children are staying now has to be demolished within the next 1 or 2 years as most part of the structure were built from bamboos (which should not be used for more than ten years).

It may take 6 to 9 months to complete the whole rebuilding work, also depending on the weather. If God provides extra, we will take it as a sign to change the roofs of the Fellowship Hall and the Dining area from the bamboos and woods support roof (same as the guesthouse) to concrete roof, estimated to be 700,000 Baht (including the form work to hold the cement roof), and could use the space on the roof top to carry out other activities. We work according to the principles taught in the Bible (Matthew 25). God knows how much is the need and how much to give and He give “to every man according to his several ability” (Matthew 25:15, KJV). If God gives two talents, we must make good use of the two talents. If five or ten talents, we must also be faithful to multiply them, like the apostle Paul teaches, “it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2, KJV).

16 March 2011 - Praise & Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality” (Romans 12:12-13, KJV).

THANK GOD! One month has passed since the fire broke out. By the grace of God which is always sufficient for us, we thank God for sustaining us and enabling us to cope with and adjust to all that has befallen us. Thank you for upholding us in your prayer.

On 7 March (Monday), we started pulling down all the burned woods and walls. All were cleared by 11 March (Friday). Reconstruction of the building began on 12 March (Saturday). Since then, we have been working on the foundations. It may take us about three weeks to get it done, depending on the weather. It has been raining for the past few days and the weather-forecast reported that our area will be cloudy and raining for the next few days (14 to 18 Mar). Temperature at night is below 20 degrees Celsius though it is supposed to be the hot season now. Thank God for the rain that cools off the heat and wash away the dust.

We have decided to rebuild the house by ourselves with the help of an experienced contractor. We think that our older boys (John, Isaac, Boaz, Joshua and Enoch) are fit and old enough now to learn and pick up the skill. Having been with us for so many years, it is a joy to see them growing "in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man" (Luke 2:52, KJV). Since the beginning of the ministry, the older boys had been involved in many of the construction works here in the Christian Home of Love (CHOL) and all under the supervision of the same contractor that we have hired to take on this project. We believe that since they are much older now and with all the experiences that they had gained in the past, God will enable them to carry out the task as well as to master the skill at the same time. With such a skill on hand, not only would they be able to build their own houses in the future when they have their own families, but also could use it to serve God in the ministry. Moreover, part of the programmes of CHOL is to impart unto the residents a certain skill to equip them for service in the church or the society, or wherever the Lord leads them. So, we thank God for such an opportunity given unto them to be involved in the rebuilding project of the Home. Please pray that they will learn much through this course.

We were so encouraged especially by the presence of Mrs Ivy Tow at CHOL. Last Friday (11 Mar), Mrs Tow, the matron and lecturer of the Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC) came with some ex-FEBC graduates (Warunee, Billy & his wife, Irene) to visit us at CHOL for half a day. We were so happy to have her here with us because we are always thankful to the Lord for her love and kindness shown towards us while we were students in FEBC. We will never forget how God led us to our Alma Mater some 16 years ago to be trained and equipped under the godly leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Timothy Tow, who was supported by his wife, Mrs Ivy Tow and the lecturers. We are always grateful to Mrs Tow for being such a motherly woman to us and all the students of FEBC. Thank God also for our friends who took the time to fetch and accompany Mrs Tow to our Home.

Students are having their final examinations on Monday to Wednesday (14 – 16 March). Thereafter, it will begin their long summer holidays which will last till the middle of May. During the vacation, they will be helping out at Home. We have also prepared some learning activities for them and other children from the village. Pray that they will learn much and their time will be wisely spent.

THANK GOD! We were able to find a place for Dara, Evangel & Evangeline to do their studies. Please pray for Dara as she has four exam papers to do at home this week, to be completed by Saturday (19 Mar). THANK GOD for His healing hand upon Dara. She is recovering well. No more those unpleasant side-effects. PRAISE THE LORD!

We know that everything could proceed so steadily and quickly is because God has heard and answered all our prayers. Thank you once again for co-labouring with us in prayer. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16, KJV).

THANK GOD that He is so real to all those who walk close with Him. Recognising that He is always there for us and is faithful and in full control of our lives and the surrounding, there is no reason why we should be afraid or anxious, as the Scripture says, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22, KJV).

The assurance of God's sovereignty in our lives and the promises of God in His Word should cause us to trust Him in every situation, knowing that every event that unfolds in our lives comes with the knowledge of the all knowing God Who is working all things out "after the counsel of His Own will" (Ephesians 1:11, KJV). This should also encourage us to be thankful to God, like the early Christians, "rejoicing that (we) were counted worthy to suffer ...for His Name" (Acts 5:41, KJV). The apostle Paul puts it this way, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, KJV).

1 March 2011 – Praise & Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh

“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2, KJV).

THANK GOD for the five brethren from Singapore who came to render their physical help. James Tan, May Eng, Sandra and her two children (Tze Anne & Tze Shaun) came on 16 February and returned on 23 February. They helped to clean up the books, bags, clothing, toys, kitchenware and cabinets, etc. Thank God for their labour of love. As it is written, “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10, KJV). Thank God again for them, for sacrificing their time and comfort to come and bear the burden together with us. They were indeed a great help and encouragement to us.

Elder Victor Wee, though had just returned from the India mission trip on 19 February (Saturday), came on the 21 February (Monday), together with our co-worker Peigang (who was back in Singapore for the Lunar New Year).

Thank God also for Dara’s Thai friends, Ek and Pee Ploy for coming to offer us encouragement on 14 and 15 February respectively. God is indeed marvelous. He knows who to send and how to meet our needs. “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in Thee” (Psalm 84:11-12, KJV).

Thank God for all the love and concern, prayer and financial support we have received from fellow believers in Christ during this trying period. Clothing, toiletries, instant noodles, and some goodies were also provided. Jesus says, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me” (Matthew 25:40, KJV). “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:42, KJV).

Removing of the debris is still in the process, a little here and there every day. Thank God that along the way, we could find some soaps and toothpastes still in usable condition, reminding us of what Jesus says, “…Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost” (John 6:12, KJV).

As one of the walls of the dormitories is joined with the kitchen outside, we may need to cut it apart before we could knock down the other walls. We may start to demolish the building, God willing, within this week to make way for the construction to take place. Please pray for safety and protection in the work and for wisdom in planning and ideas for the design of the dormitories. Weather is also an issue here.

While waiting for the dormitories for the boys and girls and Dara’s and the children’s study room to be built, we are trying to find a proper working space for Dara and our two kids to do their work. We have blocked up one portion of the building that was not affected by the fire to put our wardrobes in. Robert has fixed up electrical wiring, powered by car batteries, to bring in some light to the room. We have shifted our beds to Robert’s office. Thank God for this arrangement and for preserving Robert’s office from the fire. The office is just 5 metres away from the building that caught fire.

At this juncture, many of you may be interested to know how we are doing and coping after the fire incident. We must say again, “GOD IS ALWAYS SO GOOD TO HIS CHILDREN!” He has enabled us to adjust life back to normal again, though things are still quite messy in the rooms.

On 14 February (Monday), 2 days after the fire took place, the children got their school uniform and were back to school on the following day (15 Feb). The school said that they would be given new textbooks for free but until now, they are still sharing textbooks with their classmates. Thank God. There was not much studying for them for the past two weeks. Since 17 February, their school has been busy with a series of sports competitions and camp. They even requested us to use our lorry to fetch their students to another school for an inter-school sports tournament. THANK GOD! John, who had obtained his driving license two years ago, could serve as the driver. The end of the school term is coming soon. One more week to go and they will be sitting for their final examinations (around the middle of March). Pray that they will be ready for the exams and able to do well.

As for the older boys, they are back to their normal chores: looking after the animals, taking care of the paddy field, watering the crops, etc. It is a joy to see them faithfully and diligently serving the Lord each day. Pray also especially for John and Isaac in their preparation for their exams at the end of April. John recently twisted his ankle badly while playing soccer with the boys and it is still swollen and painful. Do pray for healing for him.

Evangel and Evangeline have also started their studies. Their home-school materials are not complete due to the fire, but they just have to move on with what they have. May God help them to be disciplined after so long a break. In addition to their studies, they have other learning activities too. This week, they are learning to bake. Thank God that they really enjoy it very much. They also learn Thai from Dara in the evening or sometimes at night, depending on their commitments. For this subject, Evangel is currently at Primary 4 level and Lin is at Primary 3. On top of these, beginning this week, Evangel has to do a research paper from the Internet about a famous person that he likes. Pray that this will expand his knowledge and improve his IT skills.

As for Dara, apart from home-schooling the two kids and teaching them how to bake (with Grace as her assistant), she has to do her own studies too. Thank God that she could attend classes last weekend. Thank God also that her health is improving steadily. THANK GOD! She has no more body cramps since last week. May the Lord grant her a complete recovery. Do continue to uphold her in prayer.

Grace is always working diligently behind the scenes. She joyfully does the laundry, cooking, washing, ironing, etc for our family to relieve us of those things. At times, she also assists Dara in teaching Thai to Evangel and Lin. Thank God for her. She is indeed a great helper and a blessing from God to all of us. May God grant her strength daily to discharge her daily duties.

Robert had wanted to get this update out since a week ago (24 Feb) but he has been occupied with so many different assignments on hand that he had to delay it. For the past one week until now, he has been feeling a bit weak physically and his eyes have been getting tired easily. We request you to pray for him, for better health and extra strength to manage the various tasks laid before him and for his recovery from bodily weakness. Thank God for sustaining Robert day by day. Indeed, God’s grace is always sufficient for us.

Our daily Family Worship is held in the evening. Robert is still doing the teaching. The residents also take turns to preach under Robert’s guidance. Pray that God will continue to bless the family worship, and for every soul in the Christian Home of Love to keep growing spiritually in the Lord and be strengthened daily to live in obedience to His Word. “Blessed are they that keep His Testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart” (Psalm 119:2, KJV).

Thank God! We have also started the Truth B-P Church Building Project on 14 February 2011. At present, we are in the midst of creating a new blog to testify the mighty acts of God in our church and to keep you informed of how you can continue to pray for this work together with us. “All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies” (Psalm 25:10, KJV).

Could you believe? C.H.O.L. caught fire. THANK GOD! Everything is fine with us. No one got hurt. Everything in the boy and girl's dorms were gone as the fire started off first from the boy's dorm and then spread very quickly to the girl's dorm. Dara, Evangel and Lin's study room also got it but thank God that we managed to bring out many of the furniture on time with the help of the villagers, mostly our ex-students and their parents.

All the clothing, money and belongings of the children were gone. School books, uniforms, bags, shoes etc were also burned up. They have no more clothing of their own. However, thank God for the last batch of clothing that Elder Wee brought up in January 2011 and I kept them at another place. So, they were all given the clothing last night. PRAISE THE LORD! They could wear these clothing for Sunday Worship today (13 Feb). The weather at night and in the morning is cold. Thank God. We still have stock of jackets and wind breakers for them.
Jesus says, “for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” (Matthew 6:32, KJV).

The fire started at about 5.15 p.m. on Saturday (12 Feb) when we were having our family worship. We do not know exactly what was the cause of the fire but the boys were saying that it could be because of the loose contact of the electrical plug and the mobile phone charger in the boy’s dorm that triggered the fire sparks and when the wind blew in, it ignited the mosquitoes nets and then the mattresses and blankets and the whole wooden building. Everything happened just so fast. When we ran to the boy’s dorm, the bed was already on fire. Within 5 minutes, the whole room was already burning. THANK GOD! The fire didn’t take place in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping, when there was nobody to help carrying things, and when there was no one to drive the fire engine.

After the fire had finally died down, we carried on with our family worship. We thanked and praised God for Who He is in our lives. After we had sung the song, “Thank to God for my Redeemer,” Dara reminded all of us once again to thank God for the series of messages we had learned at the end of last year, entitled “When Disaster Strikes” to prepare us for such a time like this. Indeed, God’s Word is our comfort and strength, as the psalmist says, “This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy Word hath quickened me” (Psalm 119:50, KJV).

THANK GOD! There are two power supplies for the Home, one from the front yard and the other from the back yard. Though the one from the back yard were cut off due to the fire, thank God that we still have light at the front yard. So, we are not living in darkness. The same is also true with the water source. We have two main pipes, one to the boy and girl’s dorms and the other to the guest house. Since the dorms were reduced to ashes, the children are now sleeping at our guest house, with full water supply. THANK GOD! Our kitchen is also not affected by the fire. Likewise, the fire didn’t burn down our Fellowship Hall. We are now putting up at the house that we have built for Elder and Mrs Wee. It’s just in front of the Fellowship Hall.

Couldn’t imagine. Our house was burned up by fire. Nevertheless, we still believe that God is in full control. In time like this, some may think that it must be due to some sins in our lives so God is chastising us. We acknowledge the Bible teaches that “For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth (Hebrews 12:6, KJV).” But this is not always the case. The Book of Job says that Job “was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil” (Job 1:1, KJV) and yet he encountered calamity in his life simply because he was a godly man and God, as it were, offered him to Satan to be tempted, as it is written in Job 1:8, “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?”

We are finite. We may not know exactly why God allows certain things to happen to us even when we have tried our best to live for Him but still, we must believe that God is the Author of our lives and He has the final say. We are just an instrument of God. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Through this incident, we have learned also not to hold on to material things too tightly but to learn to let go. Like Job said, "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD" (Job 1:21, KJV). God has always been very good to us and He will definitely grant us His grace to go through this time of testing, though it may take quite a while for us to rebuild everything again. Don't worry. We are fine. God is always so good to us and He has granted us His peace and joy even in moment like this. PRAISE THE LORD! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28, KJV).

The police officers have come to block up the area. They are going to file a report. Thereafter, we should be able to start cleaning up the mess. Do pray for wisdom for us to know how to go about doing it and how and when to start the reconstruction. Do also pray for strength and good health for all of us.

It has not been easy especially for Dara, having to go through so much at this time when her health is still very weak. The environment is quite smoky at time due to forest fire or the villagers burning the rubbish. She finds it hard to breath at time because of the air pollution. Kindly uphold her health in prayer.

Due to the fire and the water from the fire engine, many of the books of Dara and both Evangel and Evangeline were damaged. Those books are for their studies. Pray that we will be able to quickly source out the number of books that were destroyed and find a replacement so that they may move on with their studies when everything is more or less settled. We also hope to explain to Dara’s lecturers about her situation and ask for permission for her to study at home. Pray that her lecturers will be very understanding.

The students do not have any uniform to go to school on Monday (14 Feb). And as some of you may know, every student needs 4 different sets of uniforms throughout the week. So, we will be going to the school to inform the teachers about it. Pray that they will be able to buy all the 4 sets of uniforms from the school as soon as possible and also the school will have enough text books to sell to them at this time. In a month’s time, they will be having their school examinations, followed by the long summer holidays. Pray that their studies will not be affected.

“My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips: When I remember Thee upon my bed, and meditate on Thee in the night watches. Because Thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of Thy wings will I rejoice” (Psalm 63:5-7, KJV).

OUR GOD IS ALWAYS SO GOOD AND SO FAITHFUL! He has so graciously provided all our needs. He has once again shown Himself to be a loving and caring Father to His children. GLORY TO HIS NAME!

Thank you for your prayer for Dara’s treatment last week (31 Jan – 2 Feb 2011) and for her recovery. After the treatment, Dara was given Levothyroxine, Calcium and vitamin D tablets for daily intake. At the moment, she is experiencing some side effects caused by the medication, such as headache, nausea, lack of energy, slow of speech, feeling cold. Besides, she is having pain around the area that was operated in December 2010. Pray that the pain will be gone soon. On Tuesday (8 Feb) she was extremely weak physically and emotionally down. THANK GOD! She was slightly better the next day (9 Feb). We will be returning to Thailand on Thursday (10 Feb). The aeroplane will be taking off at 3 pm and arrive at Bangkok at 6 pm. We will be transiting at Bangkok airport at 9 pm, and arriving at Chiang Mai at 10 pm (Thailand time). Pray that God will grant her the additional strength to cope with the long journey and remove the headache and nausea from her. The journey from Chiang Mai to the Christian Home of Love (CHOL) will take another 3 hour drive (150 km). We will stay a night in Chiang Mai and return to CHOL on Friday (11 February).

THANK GOD! This coming weekend (12 & 13 Feb), Dara doesn’t have to go to study at Chiang Rai. This is indeed a blessing to her. According to her university original time-table, there should be no break for this month. Definitely, our GOD KNOWS that she is weak at this time and needs more rest. It’s surely our God’s doing to let the university changed its plan this week and proclaimed a holiday. PRAISE THE LORD! OUR GOD IS TRULY OMNISCIENT! “I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify Thy name for evermore” (Psalm 86:12, KJV).

THANK GOD for the sweet fellowship we could have with fellow Christians during our short stay in Singapore. THANK GOD also for the blessed time we could spent with our loved ones. God willing, we will be back to Singapore for hospital appointment in August 2011. Dara will be having another total body scan at that time. Pray that she will be completely healed by then. “For great is Thy mercy toward me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell” (Psalm 86:13, KJV).

“THE LORD IS GOOD, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7, KJV).

PRAISE GOD! Like Moses going up to Mount Sinai alone to meet the LORD, Dara has prepared herself to go to the hospital and spend all her time alone in the ward with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in prayer and in the reading of His Word for the next few days. Besides the Bible, we have printed out some hymns for her to bring along to sing praises unto the God of our salvation. Pray that she will have a wonderful time fellowshipping with the Lord. “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him” (Psalm 34:8, KJV).

This morning (31 January), Dara will be admitted to the Singapore General Hospital for a 3 day treatment for thyroid cancer. She will be given high dosage of the radioactive iodine and her body will be radio active for a while. During this period, it’s better for her not to have close contact with people, especially the pregnant women and children under 5 years old. So, she will be confined to a room to herself. No one could visit her, not even her love ones. Yet, the Lord will always be her companion. Pray that she will be fully healed and physically strong after the treatment. God willing, she will be discharged on Wednesday (2 February 2011).

After her 2 thyroids were removed on 8 December 2010, she is not on any medication and is lacking of hormone in her body. Till today, 8 weeks have passed. The lack of calcium and other chemical in her body has caused much cramp on her body and made her out of breath at times and headache and tired easily. Thank God. The day has come for her to go for the treatment. May the Lord grant her a complete recovery!

“He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:6-8, KJV).

Thank you for your partnership with us in prayer. Thanks for praying with us for our Christmas outreaches last month (Dec. 2010). By God’s grace, everything went on well and smoothly. Many had come and heard the gospel. Have attached a few pictures on this blog for your viewing.

on Tuesday night (25 Jan), with 8 baggage. GOD IS ALWAYS SO GOOD! It was an eventful trip which God used to teach us the lesson of TRUST.

Firstly, at Bangkok airport, we were not allowed to check in because Dara’s passport is less than six months from the expiry date. They knew that if Dara could not go to Singapore, than all of us would not be going too. We told them that Dara would be going for her treatment in Singapore. They asked for the hospital letter from Singapore but we didn’t have it with us. So, what should we do? Prayed and prayed. The Bible says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7, KJV).

to fax us the letter. THANK GOD! We managed to get hold of Elder Victor Wee who contacted the doctor for us and had the letter fax over. Thank God for Elder Wee who was always so willing and ever so ready to help us. After calling Elder Wee, we informed them that the letter would be in soon. PRAISE GOD! Somehow, they just believed what we said. It must be the Lord’s doing. They could have let all of us wait until the fax came in then let us check in but God worked in such a way that while waiting for the fax to come in, they allowed us to check in all the baggage first and let Dara, Grace, Evangel and Evangeline to go in. As for me, they wanted me to wait till the fax reached their office. Thereafter, Dara said, “THANK GOD FOR CANCER.” If it’s not because of cancer, she would not be able to come to

Singapore

on that day. Yes, “we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28, KJV).

We actually arrived at the Bangkok airport quite early at about 2.30pm, slightly more than 2 hours before checking in. We could have gone for lunch first, but thank God that we didn’t. The queue was very, very long. When it reached our turn, it was about 3.40 pm. The departure time was 4.45 pm. When they finally allowed Dara, Grace, Evangel and Lin to go in, it was about 4 pm. I waited for them to call me but they didn’t, though I was just standing in front of the counter. At 4.30 pm, I decided to ask them and tell them that the fax had already reached the office. To my surprise, they said that they had forgotten to inform me about it and that the aeroplane was about to depart. They wanted me to quickly run in before it was too late. Quite exciting wasn’t it?

Then when I reached the airport immigration, know what, the queue was also very long. I knew that it would take quite a while before my turn and I would be late. What to do then? Prayed and prayed. I called Dara to inform the air-stewards about it. They said they would wait for me till 5 pm. If still I could not make it, then they would send someone there to help me clear the immigration quickly. 5 pm finally came and there was still a person before me, but the airplane couldn’t wait anymore. So they sent an air-steward to look for me at the immigration and found me at the counter. Thank God. I finally reached the aeroplane safely being the last person to board the plane. GOD IS SO AMAZING!

After I had boarded, the plane was all ready to take off. They shut the door and in no time, the plane started to move. As usual, I would count all the passports. And since, I was not able to go with them earlier, I told Grace to look after them and their passports. But, something happened again. Lin’s passport was missing. She remembered that she had already given it to Grace. Where had it gone to? The plane was already moving. It was too late to go back now to the airport and find the passport. With the seatbelt on, we tried searching around where we were sitting but the passport was no where to be found. Lin and Evangel was sitting in the row in front of Grace. Grace bended forward to see whether she could find the passport under their seats but couldn’t. What to do now? Prayed and prayed. When the seat belt light went off, Grace bended down to search under her own seat and to her amazement, she saw the passport lying down there. She cried. God was so merciful again. “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known Thy faithfulness to all generations” (Psalm 89:1,KJV).

However, it was not the end yet. We have not reached Singapore. What if the Singapore Immigration couldn’t allow Dara to enter Singapore because of her passport? We actually told the airline in Bangkok to print out a copy of the letter for us so that we could show it to the Singapore Immigration officer. However, because they had forgotten about me, they had also forgotten to photocopy a copy for me. It was too late for me to rush to the office and ask for a copy now. What to do then? Prayed and Prayed. We hoped that the immigration officer in Singapore would not notice the expiry date. But, guess what? He did. However, God had shown Himself once again to be faithful and merciful. God had soften the heart of the immigration officer to let Dara entered Singapore for a month. Pointing at Dara’s passport, he just reminded Dara not to forget to renew her passport after returning to Thailand. PRAISE THE LORD! “Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds” (Psalm 36:5, KJV).

Through all these happenings, we know that God was teaching us to trust Him ever more, even before we reached Singapore. We know also that it is God’s will for Dara to have her treatment done in Singapore. We went for the hospital appointment on Thursday (27 Jan). The doctor confirmed that Dara has to go for the radio iodine on Monday (31 Jan). She will be admitted to the hospital for three days, until Wednesday (2 Feb). During the treatment, she will be isolated, not because she is carrying any contagious disease but that she will be radioactive. So, no visit will be allowed. To be honest, it is not the treatment that is painful for her but the separation from us for 2 days and 2 nights. But, God is so good. Unlike Thailand, she is allowed to make phone calls in the ward. Thank God for this arrangement. This will definitely reduce her loneliness and longing to see us. PRAISE BE TO GOD!

Thank God again that the timing is just perfect. The doctor said that she will be discharged from the hospital on February 2. So, she will be physically present for our family reunion dinner, though she may still need to abstain from certain food. Besides, she will also be able to join us for the Chinese New Year visitation. GOD IS ALWAYS SO GOOD AND SO GRACIOUS! "How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Thy Wings" (Psalm 36:7, KJV).

Do pray for everyone in the Christian Home of Love during our absence that God will keep them close to Himself. Pray for John our church deacon as he leads the Sunday worship services and preaches the Word of God. God willing, we will return to Thailand on February 10. Do continue to pray for Dara’s recovery.

13 December 2010 - Praise and Prayer from Robert & Dara Peh

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, KJV).

God has been very good to us. Before we knew that Dara had thyroid cancer, Robert was preaching on a series of four messages on the topic, "When Disaster Strikes." Thank God that God has used the sermons in a very personal way to prepare Dara and all of us for her sickness. Thank God also for yesterday’s sermon (12 Dec.) on “Not I but Christ” that has again brought much encouragement to Dara. Presently, Dara is still feeling weak physically. “yet the inward man is renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16, KJV). God has been comforting and encouraging her and is still doing so today. We know that God has a purpose in allowing such thing to happen in our lives and God has a plan for it. God is always sovereign and is in complete control of every event. Thank God for His sustaining grace which is sufficient for us everyday. Let’s learn to submit to Him and His divine will no matter what happen. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Psalm 46:1-2, KJV).

Dara’s desire is to do her best for God in every area of her life, and this includes her studies too. If possible, she doesn't want to miss any lesson at all but she was really so sick last Friday night (10 Dec.) due to the numb that came upon her body (starting from her feet and went up to her face) that she had to cancel her plan of going to school on Saturday (the second weekend of Dec.). However, unexpectedly and for the first time, her lecturer couldn’t make it on the first and third weekends of this month and so they were given assignments to do at home to be presented on the last weekend (the fourth weekend) of this month (25 Dec.). Praise the Lord! The Bible says, “…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28, KJV). God knows that Dara needs more bodily rest. This coming Friday (17 Dec.), we need to go to Chiang Mai for Dara’s medical check-up. If there is a class on this weekend (18 Dec.), then she will need to travel to Chiang Rai. I think it will be too exhausted for her to do that at the moment. So, thank God. Our God is Omniscient. He knows before hand what Dara truly needs and has ordained in advance the class to be cancelled so that Dara could have the much needed rest. “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps” (Jeremiah 10:23, KJV).

This incidence has reminded us again that life is so fragile. Just last year, Dara went for a surgery to remove her uterus because of a growth in her cervix. This year, a hard lump was found on the front of her neck. None of us could be certain what will happen to us the next moment. But, thank God. The Bible assures us that God “knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and His righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them (Psalm 103:14-18, KJV). Praise the Lord! God is merciful! Our lives are in His hand. He reigns over all the earth and is forever in control of every affair of our lives, as it is written, “The LORD hath prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19, KJV). “My times are in Thy hand” (Psalm 31:15). Let us therefore trust Him wholeheartedly and strive to do His will every day till we see Him face to face.

Thank God that we could record Dara’s singing for the Christmas outreaches before her surgery. Thank God for a successful surgery done on December 15. Do continue to pray for Dara’s recovery with no complications. Pray that in due time, she will regain her vigour. Pray for wisdom to complete her school assignments and be ready physically for the presentation on the fourth Saturday, December 25. On the very same day, we will also be having our annual Christmas Outreach at Den Luang village. Thus, God willing, we will go to Dara’s school in the morning for half a day and then return to serve in the Christmas outreach at 6 p.m. Please pray for a safe journey to and fro. Remember also to pray for all who are involved in this event; for the villagers to be able to come (expected about 150-200 souls to turn up); for the sound system to work well; for the preaching of the gospel and the saving of souls. Preparation is still on the way. Everyone in the Christian Home of Love (CHOL) is diligently rehearsing the play, dance and songs. We will be acting out from the Bible “The Rich Man and Lazarus” and Rev. Robert Peh will be preaching from Luke 16:19-31. Peigang and Tair are still working on the wooden castle for the stage. Abigail has a few more costumes to sew. Do remember all of them in prayer. As usual, biscuits, candies and presents will be given out. Food will be provided at the close of the meeting. Abigail will do the cooking.

There will be a Christmas Celebration at the CHOL on the 24 December (Friday afternoon), followed by Christmas Caroling (Friday evening). Baptismal Service is on the 26 December (Sunday morning). Christmas Family Gathering is at 3 p.m. (Sunday afternoon). Christmas Outreach to Pu Men Mountain falls on the following day, December 27 (Monday) at 12 p.m.

“Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people” (1 Chronicles 16:8, KJV).

Thank God for the 3 weeks of school break. Second school term will start on Saturday for Dara. It will begin on the 9 October 2010 and end on the last week of January 2011. Thank God for enabling Dara to complete almost all the given assignments in the last 3 weeks. Do pray for her for good success in the new semester, for good health and for strength to manage all her responsibilities and for us as we travel every weekend together as a family.

Praise the Lord! Children had just completed their mid term exams this week. Holidays have already begun for them. School will resume in November. Pray that they will use their time fruitfully. This month (October), we are teaching them on the topic of prayer and God willing, we will use the holiday period to help them to spend more time praying, working out what they have learned in their daily lives.

Thank God that every year we could organise Christmas outreaches to proclaim the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through messages, songs and performances. We have already started cutting the costumes and creating our own props. Do pray for Robert and Dara for wisdom in preparing the messages and writing the scripts for all the performances, for ideas in composing songs and music, for creativity for Dara in designing the costume and the props as well as for Abigail our seamstress and her husband brother Tair who sew the cloth together. Do also commit all our rehearsals to God in your prayer. Everyone in the Christian Home of Love will be actively involved in this endeavour together with some of our church members, as the Bible admonishes us, “not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11, KJV).

John is working hard digesting his school books. He is three quarter way through his reading and still has slightly more than 1,500 pages to go. Thanks for praying for him. Do continue to uphold him in your prayer as he prepares for his coming exams on the last week end of October. May the Lord bring to remembrance what he has learned and help him to do well for His own glory and honour!

Do pray also for Evangel and Evangeline in their studies. Due to the constant traveling and many activities in our lives and ministry, since young they were both trained to readily adjust themselves to fit in to their daily activities. Thank God that we could do home schooling with them. It allows them to study by their own paces with flexibility. By God’s grace, they are doing well according to their own standard. Pray that they will continue to grow healthily and strong in the Lord, “in favour both with the LORD, and also with men” (1 Samuel 2:26, KJV).

Do remember our paddy field in your prayer. The older boys still have to go to the field every day, checking the water level, removing the weeds, giving fertiliser, cutting grass, and making sure that everything is fine. May the Lord grant us a good harvest in due time! Harvesting may begin around the end of November, if the Lord wills.

It’s raining lesser now. We will be contacting the construction company soon to make arrangement and preparation for the Church building project. There is a need to dig a bore-well to bring in the water supply. May the Lord help us and lead us as we work things out in the days ahead. We covet your prayer in this enormous work that God has laid upon us.

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” (Ecclesiastes 9:10, KJV).

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the Name of the LORD. Blessed be the Name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S Name is to be praised” (Psalm 113:1-3, KJV).

Praise the LORD! In June, by God’s enabling, Dara had obtained her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructing. Upon completion, God led her straightway to pursue a Ph.D at the same University, this time majoring in Education and Social Development, to further equip her for the future ministry that God has in stored for us, namely the starting of a Christian School. The course actually commenced in June, which is to say, if she were to obtain her Master’s degree a month later, she might have to wait for another 3 years for the next enrolment. God’s timing is indeed perfect. Praise be to the LORD our God!

Since June, we have been traveling every weekend to Chiang Rai (about 100 km away from CHOL) for Dara’s studies. We have to leave the Home every Saturday morning and return on the Sunday to worship the LORD. Her entire course, God willing, will take 2 years, provided that she has completed her doctoral thesis by then. THANK GOD! Dara has already started working on the thesis. Do pray for wisdom in her studies and the writing of her thesis, as well as for journeying mercies,especially during this period - the rainy season.

By 19^th September, Dara will be completing the first term of her course. The second term will begin in October. Every month will begin with one new subject and every end of the month will be the exams. There are alot of books to read and assignments to do every week besides finding time to prepare her presentation for each subject. Please pray for her for strength to cope with the heavy workload over her daily responsibilities. God is always faithful! God has enabled Dara to do well in the previous endeavours and surely, God will continue to enable her to do the same for His own glory and honour, as it is written, “Faithful is He that calleth you, Who also will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24, KJV).

Praise God! Grace has also successfully finished her Bachelor of Arts in April this year. Thank God for His goodness in providing financially for her throughout the past four years of studies through a godly Christian family. May the Lord bless all those who have been giving to missions, as it is written, “God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8, KJV). By God’s enablement, Grace has served the Lord with us for almost 10 years already. Thank God for her faithfulness to God. She is a wonderful helper and a humble servant of God. Indeed, “a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30, KJV). Thank God for her. She is such a blessing and encouragement to all of us in the Church and the Home.

Thank God also for John. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor’s degree at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. He has taken 3 subjects for this semester (from June to October). He has 6 thick textbooks to be read and some home-works to complete. His exams are at the end of October. May the Lord grant him the ability to manage his time efficiently everyday between his studies and services in the Church and the Home. Do remember him in your prayer.

As many of you may have heard, during the hot season this year, many provinces in Thailand were hit by drought, and our village was no exception. However, thank God again for His provision of the 150 meters deep bore well for the Home. With it, our Home was not affected by the drought. And not only so, it has become a blessing to the villagers as we help to supply an amount of 2,000 litres of water to the village a few times a week.

Nevertheless, we are reminded of what Jesus says in John 4:13-14, “Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Pray that the villagers will come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who alone could satisfy all their spiritual needs, as Jesus says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10, KJV).

Since August, we have started a

series of messages on Evangelism and are providing practical training to the people here. Do pray for Robert as he preaches on this vital subject each Sunday (till end of September) and teaches how to apply to life the lessons learned during the weekdays, as well as for the people here to be well equip for “the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18, KJV). John, our church deacon, chairs the Sunday worship on every Lord’s Day. Robert is the Lord’s messenger and Dara the Thai and Lahu interpreter. Do continue to uphold us in prayer.

We are still in the midst of the rainy season. Lots of mosquitoes everywhere. For the last 2 months, almost everyone in the CHOL was down with fever and some had contracted even the dengue fever. Thank God for His healing. They have all recovered. God is always so good! “Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust” (Psalm 40:4, KJV).

The Apostle Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, “if any would not work, neither should he eat.” Thank God for giving us strength everyday to work in the paddy field to grow our own crops to reduce the daily expenses of the Home. Thank God especially for all the older boys in the Christian Home of Love who work tirelessly day after day on the field. After two months of hard work, we have finally completed ploughing the land and scattering the grains. Let’s pray for a good harvest in due time. “The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 24:1, KJV). Amen!

As concerning our Church building project. God willing, we will start the work once the rainy season is over. Do continue to pray for wisdom in planning and decision making in this area as well as asking our faithful God to provide the rest of the building fund. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7, KJV).

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17, KJV).

THANK GOD. God is always so good. The children in the Home were happy to have completed their final examinations last week. Thanks for praying for them. They are now having their school holidays.

During school period, the children spent the whole day in school (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Time of interaction with them became shorter. So, we plan that throughout this holiday (till mid of May), we will be able to spend more time together, especially in the area of strengthening our spiritual lives. One hour a day of family worship together is not enough. We are hungering for more. “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God” (Psalm 42:1, KJV). Thank God for enabling us to come out with an appropriate programme. Having shared with them, everyone is happy and excited about it. We pray that this summer holiday will bring us closer to God and to one another in building up and edifying each other in the Lord, as we work towards an enriching and uplifting season together.

As regarding the holiday time-table, God willing, the mornings will be set aside for the development of our spiritual lives: spending time with God personally, family worship, meditating on the Word of God that we have learned, listening to Robert’s audio messages, writing personal devotional notes, thinking of ways to apply God’s Word in our lives, examining how we have been doing in our spiritual walk with God and the application of God’s Word in our daily living, praying to God, singing and learning songs, memorizing the Scriptures, reading through the Bible in a year etc. In the afternoons, time will be allocated proportionately throughout the week and month to: outdoor works, area cleaning, gardening, learning workshop knowledge and skills training such as sewing, weaving, drawing, painting, woodwork, baking, cooking etc. And the evenings will be used for: learning music, practicing piano and guitar, playing games, fellowshipping with one another, personal time and rest. Please pray for Robert & Dara as they work out the daily activities for everyone in the Home. This plan will begin tomorrow (12 March 2010), if the Lord be willing. “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalm 37:4, KJV).

The weather here is contaminated, think haze everywhere. As if the air pollution is not bad enough, to make the matter worst, besides the forest fire, many villagers are burning their own fields to prepare their lands for the next round of farming. In addition to that, many places are experiencing a drought. Den Luang village too is no exception. Many water wells and ponds have dried up. However, we thank God for the 150m deep bore well of the Home that is still serving us faithfully everyday without ceasing. May the Lord send the rain soon!

You may have been told of the current political crisis in Thailand. May you join us in prayer for the Thai government for wisdom to handle the situation peacefully!
“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth” (Proverbs 8:14-16, KJV). Our Lord is still on the throne! Daniel 4:32, “…the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will. ”

All of us took turns to fall sick. After Evangel was restored to health, Grace and Robert got food poisoning. When they had recuperated, 3 days later, Lin was down with fever. And after Lin had recovered her health, Dara was ill. Yes, it was tough, falling sick one after another on top of our daily commitments, but God is always good. Looking back to all these years of our lives and ministry on the mission field, such encounter is no stranger to us, but God is always faithful. His grace is indeed sufficient for us, as it is written, “for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9, KJV). Thank God for healing Dara. Most of the children are also recovering from flu. Some are coughing. Besides medicine, everyone in the Home is given some vitamin supplements for daily intake. Thank God for His provisions. May the Lord grant speedy recovery to the sick and a stronger body resistance to all! Brethren, pray for us.

Dara will be taking her oral exams this coming Thursday’s afternoon (March 25). She is still working on her power-point presentation (20 minutes long). Do pray for her, for clarity of speech and wisdom to present her work. May the Lord grant her good success in her examinations and give her favour in the sight of the examiners!

We will be travelling to Chiang Rai one day earlier (on March 24) before Dara’s exams to look for a suitable campsite for our church camp. Please pray with us as we wait upon the Lord to show us the venue for this year’s camp.

Dara is also the person in charge of the Sunday School. Each week, she will go through the previous Lord’s Day’s message with the people with some modifications of her own, incorporating dramas or role playing and visual aids to her teachings, followed by arts and crafts. Thank God for enabling her to come out with so many new and creative ideas for every Sunday. You could tell how much her Sunday School students, young and old, really love it and enjoy the lesson. Thank God for granting her the strength to cope with all the works that God has called her to do. Jesus says in John 15:4-5, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I am the Vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.” Please continue to uphold her in your prayer.

As concerning the church building project, thank God that the authority has given the approval to build the church. Thanks for praying and thank God for answering prayer. We are still working things out with the construction company. At the moment, we are getting the building materials ready for the fencing at the back and the side of the church land. We may start working on the fences, God willing, next week onwards. May the Lord help us in this undertaking! Let’s keep praying and trusting.

Thank God again for last year’s camp. Through it all, 3 teenage boys and an adult have come to know Christ. Loong Phat, the step father of Jacob and Sarah joined us for the camp. He was a non-believer then but was very receptive to the gospel message. He came to know Jesus Christ later as his personal Lord and Saviour. He is now in prison for something he did wrong 8 years ago. We have given him a Bible and some Christian literature to help him in his Bible studies and spiritual growth. Thank God. He has been reading them. Through his letters to us, you could tell that he is indeed growing in the Lord, though confined in prison. Thank God for saving his soul and for giving him hope just before he entered into prison so that he could face his imprisonment and knows that there is always hope in God. He is now 58 years old. He is sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. He keeps telling us in his letters that he is hoping in God. He also said that he wants to be baptised once he comes out of prison. Thank God indeed for what He has done and for the living hope that He has given us. “The LORD is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works” (Psalm 145:9, KJV)!

“There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand” (Proverbs 19:21, KJV).

THANK GOD! Our Christian Home of Love Foundation has finally gotten the approval by the Thai authority after all these years of praying and waiting. Thanks to all for your prayers and endurance.

Everyone here in the Church and the Christian Home of Love is excited about the coming Church Family Camp (from 19th to 23rd April). Camp preparation is on the way. Robert will be the Lord’s messenger. Dara, besides being the interpreter, has also started working on the games. Grace is getting the songs ready. John and the older boys will be playing the guitars. Please pray for Robert & his team in all their planning and preparation.

The Lord has been very good to all of us. All these years, He had faithfully provided all the material needs of the camp for us. None of the campers had to pay a single cent at all throughout the 5-day camp. Everything was well taken care of by our heavenly Father, the Lord of the Church. Once again, we trust that the Lord will do the same for us this year. May the Lord also bless all those who have contributed yearly to the running of the camp in one way or another!

Through the annual Church Camp, God has strengthened our walk with Him and deepened our spiritual lives in His Son. Likewise, we are looking forward to another season of God’s blessings upon each and every camper in and through this year’s camp. “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him” (Psalm 34:8, KJV).

Children of the Primary school level will be having their final examinations this entire week. Do remember them in your prayer. After the exams come the summer HOT holidays. School will close and resume in the middle of May. Pray that the children will spend their time wisely during their long vacation.

Grace too will be sitting an examinations at the end of April. This would be her last paper before she would complete her Bachelor degree. Thank God for all these years of guidance in her life and service. Let’s continue to pray for Grace in her coming exams and for God’s continuous leading in her life and service.

Dara was having skin allergy since the beginning of the year. She had just recovered a few days ago and thereafter Evangel got it. He is on our prayer and also undergoing medication. Every day but especially in the night, rashes would fill his whole body. Besides feeling itchy, his face, arms, fingers and legs will also swell up. Please pray for him for a speedy recovery.

Thank God. After two years of hard labour, and with the Lord’s help, Dara’s thesis was finally approved by her thesis advisors. She is now waiting upon the advisors to arrange her for an oral examination, God willing, somewhere within this month. May the Lord prepare her heart and mind for the upcoming exams and grant her wisdom and clarity of speech before the examiners. Do uphold Dara in your prayer.

We are still looking up to God in the matter of our Church Building Project. Pray that we could get the forestry official’s approval soon to go ahead with this project. May the Lord also guide us in choosing a good and reliable construction company for the job. Surely, our God Who has called us to this work, “will prosper us” (Nehemiah 2:20) and supply all the needs. Brethren, pray with us.

Thank God also for all the last year Christmas Outreaches. There was a good turn out and response from the crowds on every event. The Lord of the harvest was so gracious to bring so many souls into our midst to hear His Word. May the Lord continue to speak to the people and work out His redemptive plan of salvation in their lives, “even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:39, KJV). Amen!

“Glory ye in His holy Name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and His strength: seek His face evermore” (Psalm 105:3-4, KJV).

PRAISE THE LORD!
Christmas is coming again. THANK GOD for this yearly celebration whereby we could set aside a month in a year specially to remember the great love of God for us in sending “His only begotten Son into this world, that we might live through Him” (1 John 4:9, KJV).

THANK GOD for yet another occasion given to all of us in the Christian Home of Love, together with the adult members of Truth B-P Church to serve Him in this area. This year’s Christmas outreach at Den Luang village, God willing, will be held on the 26 December, at 6.00 p.m., which, like every year, we target about 200 villagers to turn up. Our theme for this year’s Christmas programme is “Hope in Christ,” as someone puts it, “With Christ is an endless hope; Without Christ is a hopeless end.” Sinners need hope which only the living and true God, the God of hope could offer. May the Lord be merciful to grant the villagers “repentance unto life” (Acts 11:18).

As before, there will be a series of special items, beginning from the young to the old, leading up to the nativity scene, which will include everybody. The outreach will end with a gospel message by Robert, and Dara will interpret it into Lahu. “Brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified…” (2 Thessalonians 3:1, KJV).

THANK GOD also for enabling us to produce our own props as well as to design our own costumes for the Christmas programme and to be able to cut the materials all by ourselves. Thank God for providing all the gifted people in our midst to serve Him with their God-given gifts. “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10, KJV).

THANK GOD once more for the many opportunities to reach out to the non-Christians during this festive period. As the unbelievers also recognise this joyous season, along with all the commercial advertisements, it makes it much easier to tell people the true meaning of Christmas. Thus, every year, we would make and distribute packets of homemade Christmas cookies to some non-Christian friends and shops in the town with gospel messages attached, praying that God, “Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,” would shine in their hearts (2 Corinthians 4:6). “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3, KJV).

Please also commit the following events to God in prayer:

December 24 – Christmas Caroling (beginning at 6 p.m.)

The singing of Christmas carols around the Red Lahu village and to some church members living in the town has brought us another avenue of proclaiming the gospel to the unbelievers. In this regard, we thank the Lord that many of the Red Lahu adults, who would not join us for Sunday worship, could have the gospel preached unto them during our annual caroling. And above it all, we praise God that after so many years of caroling, God was pleased to use this means even to save one Red Lahu mother, named Joanna, who is now a fervent member of our church, serving the Lord in the Christian Home of Love. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58, KJV).

December 25 – Christmas Day Celebration (6 p.m.)

Everyone here is looking forward to this day as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ and exchange Christmas gifts. Robert will give a sermon, whereas Dara will lead a team to perform a skit, highlighting the love of God for us in giving us His Son, the greatest Gift of all. Pray that all the believers will be challenged to give to God their best, particularly their own lives, as God has given to them His best, even His only begotten Son.

December 26 – Christmas Outreach at Den Luang Village (6 p.m.)

Besides what mentioned above, do also pray for all who are involved in this outreach, for good health, wisdom, courage and strength to carry out their roles readily.

December 27 – Sunday Worship Cum Baptismal Service (9 a.m.)

THANK GOD that another Red Lahu mother will be baptised, God willing, on this Lord’s Day. Martha, the mother of Jacob and Sarah of the Christian Home of Love, “whose heart the Lord opened” (Acts 16:14), has come to know Jesus Christ personally a few years ago through the ministry of Truth B-P Church. However, she was not ready yet at that time to make a public confession of her faith, as it is a common thing in Den Luang village for a person who became a Christian to experience some form of harassment by some hostile villagers. It was during our church camp this year that she clearly understood what God wanted her to do with her Christian life that she yielded herself in obedience to God. Thank God that notwithstanding the discrimination, Martha has finally taken up the courage to come forward for water baptism in obedience to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. PRAISE THE LORD!

December 27 – Christmas Family Gathering (3 p.m.)

Every year, we will invite some poorer Red Lahu parents and their children to attend this Family Gathering, to create opportunity for them to play games together as a family so as to strengthen their bond with one another, and more importantly, to share with them the love of God, praying that they might personally experience God’s love in their lives. Dara is in-charge of this event. Robert will deliver the Christmas message. May the Lord see fit to add to His kingdom “such as should be saved” (Acts 2:47, KJV).

December 28 – Christmas Outreach at Pu Men Red Lahu village (12 p.m.)

Do pray for journeying mercies traveling up and down the mountain with all the props and people; as well as for the villagers up there to be around on this day and able to attend the gospel meeting; and for the sowing of the gospel seed and the salvation of souls.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:14, KJV).

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4:10-11, KJV).

PRAISE GOD for calling and equipping us in His service. Indeed, it is a privilege and a blessing to serve the only living and true God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

For this, we thank God for the faithful teaching of the Word of God we received from our Alma Mater, the Far Eastern Bible College and from our beloved Principal Rev. (Dr.) Timothy Tow, who was called Home to glory on April 20th, 2009, whom God had used so marvelously for the proclamation and the defense of His infallible and inerrant Word, verbally and plenary inspired and perfectly preserved down through the centuries for His people in the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament underlying the Authorised (King James) Version of the English Bible. Thank God for the good fight of faith that our beloved Principal Rev. (Dr) Timothy Tow had fought for the Lord while on earth.

Both Dara and I are always very thankful to God for raising up Rev. Timothy Tow to start the Bible-Presbyterian movement and the Far Eastern Bible College in Singapore. It was through Rev. Tow that I (Robert) was given a place to study in the Far Eastern Bible College, where I was trained and equipped to serve God Who called me into the full-time ministry. God had indeed used Rev. Timothy Tow so mightily in so many ways, especially in building up the lives of so many servants of God, including Dara and me. If not for Rev. Timothy Tow, I know very well that I would not be able to be trained theologically in a fundamental Bible College, not to say about serving God, as no college would accept one who had no academic qualification like me.

Thank God for Rev. Timothy Tow. He is indeed a man of God who had given his life for the cause of Christ. Dara and I are greatly challenged by his life and teaching and we are telling everyone here in the Church and in the Christian Home of Love to follow after Rev. Tow’s godly example. We will not forget the instructions that we had received from Rev. Tow and our Alma Mater, esp. to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3, KJV), “building up [ourselves] on [our] most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 20, KJV).

God has called us not only to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ but has also given us the responsibility to equip the local believers in His service. The apostle Paul says in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (KJV).

The Lord is good. We are glad to see Isaac stepping forward to serve God in our church. He is now serving as a Lahu interpreter on Sunday worship. John, our church deacon, chairs the worship service in the Thai language and Isaac interprets for him into Lahu. Robert still preaches every Lord’s Day and Dara interprets for him. Grace, our church deaconess, also serves in the children Sunday School. Do continue to pray for the spiritual growth of our church.

John, Isaac and Grace are also serving faithfully in the Christian Home of Love every day. Beside their daily responsibilities, they also have to find time to study. Grace has to sit for an examination in August. John and Isaac will have theirs in September. May God help them in their studies and continue to empower them in His service. Do uphold them in prayer. Do pray also for Robert, for His ministries in the Church and the Christian Home of Love, and his preparation and the preaching of the Word of God every Lord’s day, every church prayer meeting and every family worship.

Thank God. Dara’s thesis advisors have finally gone through her teaching materials and given her the approval to go ahead. Starting this week, Dara has begun teaching the English language in the two government schools to the kindergarten students as part of the requirements for her course. She needs to teach every morning, one hour a day in each school, for a month, covering 20 lessons altogether. Please pray for her, for wisdom in teaching and for her students in picking up the language.

Thank God also that Evangel and Evangeline are improving in their studies and personal responsibilities. Do pray for them in their home-schooling as well as for their spiritual growth and physical developments. Children in the Christian Home of Love have gone back to school. Do pray for their studies and for both their spiritual and physical well-being.

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9, KJV).

THANK GOD for the Good Friday and Easter ‘Son-rise’ worship services. Robert preached on “Christ Bore It All Alone For Us” and “the Hope of Resurrection” respectively. God’s Word reminded us once again of how the God of love demonstrated His great love “toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (Romans 5:8,10, KJV).

THANK GOD for giving us life by giving up the life of His beloved Son for us, as it is written, "for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, KJV).

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:9-10, KJV). THANK GOD for loving us!

PRAISE GOD for the water Baptism of a mother and her son this Easter. NahUuJoe (41 years old) and Boaz (21 Years old) are Red Lahus. Boaz was with the Christian Home of Love (CHOL) in the Year 2003. He came to know God during his stay in CHOL. However, due to peer pressures, he left CHOL. Since then, he has been in and out of CHOL a few times for the past few years. Drugs are rampant then and now in and around the village and many are swayed into its addiction. Boaz was no exception. He was on drug before he repented and came back to seek the Lord last Christmas. By the grace of God, he is growing spiritually and in obedience to God. Having witnessed how God has changed her son’s life and given him hope once again, Boaz mother, NahUuJoe started to join us for Sunday Worship services and Wednesday Church Prayer Meetings without fail since the beginning of this year. Through the preaching of God’s Word, she came to embrace faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. THANK GOD for saving them.

PRAISE GOD for adding 2 more souls to our church. With the increase of souls comes also the additional responsibility to indoctrinate them in the doctrine of Christ, that they “might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness” (Colossians 1:10-11, KJV).

Every soul that God has saved is precious to God no matter who he is or where he comes from. Every soul that God has committed to our care we are accountable. May the Lord find us faithful in shepherding every sheep that He has so graciously entrusted us. Brethren, pray with us, for wisdom, strength and patience from above in responding to our heavenly calling, “warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (Colossians 1:28, KJV).

Children at CHOL are now having their long term school holidays. School will reopen around middle of May. Everyone in CHOL and Truth B-P Church is looking forward excitedly to the coming church camp next week, April 20th to 25th. The camp theme for this year is “FOLLOWING GOD.” Pray that God will work in the hearts of all the campers throughout the entire camp, that Christians be challenged to live for God, and non-Christians be won for Christ. Pray also for Robert’s message preparation and for Dara, wisdom in interpreting the messages into Thai and Lahu. May God also grant us a blessed time of fellowship one with another.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

PRIASE GOD for CHRISTMAS. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the love of God for us, as it is written, “the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men” (Titus 2:11, KJV), “…by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel” (2 Timothy 1:10, KJV).

During this Christmas season, thank God for the many occasions to proclaim the gospel of salvation to the unsaved souls in this part of the world.

If the Lord wills, this year we will have three Christmas outreaches at three Red Lahu villages. The first outreach will be held at Den Luang village on 24th December (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. We are expecting about 200 souls to turn up. The second outreach falls on 27th December (Saturday) at Pu Men mountain, from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. After lunch, we will proceed to Hui Pu village which is our third outreach. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. and end at 6.00 p.m. with a time of prayer for the church members and the needy people. PRAY that nothing will hinder the Red Lahu people from the three Red Lahu villages from coming to the gospel meetings and for God to speak to them through the messages, songs and performances.

This year, our Christmas skit is centered around the biblical story of Cain and Abel, culminating in the drama of nativity scene. The narrative will begin with how Adam and Eve had disobeyed God and became sinful and was cast out of the Garden of Eden, followed by the birth of Cain and Abel and their coming before God with their offerings, thereby contrasting two groups of people seeking God, but no matter how religious people might be in seeking God, God would only accept those who come before Him by faith, like He did to Abel just as the Word of God says, “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gift…” (Hebrews 11:4, KJV). “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV).

PRAY that the audiences will understand their own unworthiness before God and the need to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. No one could by his own efforts make himself accepted by God, as the Bible clearly teaches that, “there is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12, KJV). There is no other ways to God, “neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12, KJV). Every human being must come to God the way God has appointed, and that is through Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, as the Scripture says, “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:17-18, KJV). “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23, KJV). Jesus is the only way (John 14:6). By believing in Him, there is life everlasting (Acts 16:31, John 17:3).

Thank God also that everyone in the Christian Home of Love could be involved in our annual Christmas outreaches. Everyday, they are rehearsing the play, dance and songs after coming back from school. Let’s pray for them in all their preparation. May God grant them added strength in His service.

Do also remember our church activities this Sunday (21 December) in your prayer. Our worship service will start at 10 a.m. and in view of Christmas, Robert will preach a gospel related message on “The Christ of Christmas” and Dara will interpret it into Thai and Lahu. Indeed, Christmas is meaningless without Christ. PRAY that the believers will be challenged to greater love for God and non Christians be brought to the saving knowledge of Christ. In the afternoon at 3 p.m., there will also be a Christmas Family Gathering, with the Red Lahu children and their parents coming together to sing songs, play games and listen to the Bible story. PRAY for Robert telling the Bible story, Dara doing the interpretation, John and Peigang leading songs, and Grace and Dara in charge of games and refreshments.

There will also be a Christmas Caroling on the 25 December at 7 p.m. As usual, we will be going around Den Luang village, singing carols to a few homes, bringing encouragement to the believers and proclaiming the gospel to the non Christians. Thank God for yet another opportunity to carry out the great commission. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14, KJV).

Thank God also for Dara, Grace, Evangel and Evangeline for making Christmas cookies to be given away to friends and loved-ones with a gospel message attached in every pack. PRAY that the Lord will speak to them through the gospel message that peradventure, some may be saved.

Thank God also for providing us a co-worker from Singapore to co-labour with us in His vineyard. Since the beginning of the year, Brother Peigang has responded to the call of God to serve God fulltime. He is now using his God-given talents to accomplish what God has called Him to do in our midst. Just to name a few: God has given him the gift of an artist. Thus, he is the most suitable person painting the stage for the Christmas outreach. He is also endowed with the gift of music. With that, he is serving the Lord on every Sunday worship by playing the piano and he is also imparting the skill to the children. His presence here is indeed a blessing from God. May the Lord continue to empower him to do His will.

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation” (Psalm 68:19, KJV).

It has been a few months since we last updated our Blog. THANK GOD! He has preserved us. The Lord is always faithful and He has kept us going and busy in the ministry all these while. Thanks for remembering us and for praying for us. Due to our previous e-mail account being hacked in July, we could not read our e-mails and were experiencing difficulties updating our Blog as it shares the same passwords as our previous e-mail account. However, thank God that the problem has now been solved and we could once again update out Blog.

Thank God for the water baptism of 9 souls in September. God is gracious. He is still working in the lives of the villagers here in Den Luang village. Slowing but certainly, we believe that as many as were ordained by God unto eternal life would believe (Acts 13:48). God has His Own timing in saving souls and drawing people unto Himself as Jesus says, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44, KJV). Please keep praying for us as we reach out to the Red Lahus for Christ.

By now, our church, the Truth B-P Church is 8 years old. All these years in Den Luang village, we have been running the church in the Christian Home of Love premises. We have been praying to God and waiting upon the Lord for the construction of a church building. Thank God for leading us and providing for us to purchase a piece of land for this purpose. The location is quite near our Home, just within walking distance. Since last year, much effort has been put into this project, “according to the good hand of [our] God upon [us]” (Nehemiah 2:8, KJV). Thank God for the labour of love of all who are with us in this undertaking. God willing, we hope to raise an amount of SGD$350,000 for this project. And if the Lord wills, the church complex shall be built next year, as a Christian center for evangelism and a beacon of light to the village. Brethren, pray with us.

Very soon, the children in the Christian Home of Love will be sitting for their mid-term examinations from 6th to 8th October. Thank God for helping them in their studies thus far. They are all difference in strengths and personalities. They are good in the ways that God has created them. Teachers would also praise them for their abilities, though they may still be the mischievous ones in class. Most of them would usually represent their school in competitions such as the English contest, drawing, Mathematics, sports etc. Thank God for them and for enabling them to do what they could do, just like what Paul has said, “…by the grace of God I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10, KJV). Do uphold them in your prayer.

Thank God for you, for all your prayer for us and our ministry.

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17, KJV).

THANK GOD for seeing us through successfully yet another month in His service. It had been another busy month for us, with many eventful memories of God’s wondrous work in our midst.

The weather was very hot at the beginning of April. Our submersible pump for the 150 meters bore-well broke down. Once again, we experienced shortage of water for the Home during the hottest season of the year. Had to use the old 12 meters well again but somehow, the water pump had also decided to stop working. Had less than a thousand liters of water to use for the Home and the animals everyday. Our 10 over years old Reverse Osmosis water filter had also broken down. Many things seemed to have gone haywire, but our God is still in complete control. PRAISE GOD that in such a time like that, He sent the early rain to tide us over the driest period of the year. This reminds us of what Joel 2:23 says, “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.” Yes, we too are glad and rejoice in the LORD our God for giving us the former rain even though it is not the rainy season yet. We could always trust Him not only in good time but also in trying time. The God who provided manna and quails for the children of Israel in the wilderness is the same living and true God Whom we serve and He never fails.

Thank God also for blessing our recent Church Camp (21-25 April). This year, our camp was held at Chiang Mai. It was our third church camp. Thank God for making it possible for us all to attend the camp and for providing all the needs of the camp. Thank God also for the many brethren from Singapore who came and joined us. This year, Robert preached on the camp theme “Living for Jesus”, based on the lives of Joseph, Moses and Daniel, challenging all the campers to offer their lives daily to live for their Lord Jesus Christ as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service. Thus, we have chosen our theme verse from Romans 12:1, which the apostle Paul says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (KJV). We are reminded once more that when we have decided to live for our Lord Jesus Christ, things do not always turn out the ways we want them to be but remember that we still have the choice concerning our actions. Every Christian has to decide how he would live his life (cf. Daniel 1:8; Hebrews 11:25-26), for we are all accountable to God for what we do (2 Corinthians 5:10).

Please continue to pray for Dara in writing her thesis and meeting her advisors. Do also remember Evangel & Evangeline as they resume their studies tomorrow (1 May) after a long month break.

As for Michael, thank God for his improvement. He could now recall his past and could also go every where by himself. However, he is also getting naughtier since he is no longer staying with us. His parents (Cah Tee and Nah Yeh) took him with them when they left the Home. Amos (Michael’s younger brother) is still staying with us but it is also not easy for him. His father would come after him when he is drunk and when we are away in Chiang Mai. Do commit them in prayer.

Thank God once again for a good rice harvest last November. As the price of rice has gone up to almost double, thank God for having our own rice and for sparing us from having to buy rice. Since it has already started to rain, we will also start ploughing the land tomorrow. God willing, we will be planting corns and growing rice for the next few months from now onwards. We are told in Proverbs 10:4-5, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame” (KJV). Do pray for us, for strength and safety in all our farm works.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:2, KJV).

Thank God for your continual prayer support for us and the ministry of Truth B-P Church and the Christian Home of Love. God willing, we are going again to Hui Pu village today (15 March) at 5 p.m. to bring the Good News of salvation to the folks there. Many are lost spiritually. Pray that the Lord may open their spiritual eyes to behold the wondrous truth out of His Word to the quickening of their souls in Christ.

On the Sunday morning (16 March), if the Lord wills, Robert will be preaching at New Pong Hai church at 11 a.m. and also administering the Lord’s Supper to the church members. By God’s leading, this church is now under our church’s umbrella and is called Lively Hope B-P Church. Prior to the worship service, Dara will be leading the children ministry. Pray that the children will come and hear the gospel message and for the preaching of God’s Word to the saving of souls and the edification of the believers.

Concurrently, this Sunday at Truth B-P Church, Deaconess Wee will be teaching the children Sunday School at 11 a.m. and Deaconess Grace interpreting for her into Thai. The team led by Robert will be back in the afternoon from New Pong Hai village to join in the worship service at Truth B-P Church at 4 p.m.. Elder Wee will be the Lord’s messenger for this Palm Sunday. Please remember all of us and the ministry of the Word in prayer.

As we approach the Passion Week, we are reminded again of our Lord and Saviour’s love for us. There will be nightly memorial church cum family worship to commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ for us on the cross. Good Friday Service will start at 8 p.m. Easter ‘Son-rise’ service will begin at 6.15 a.m. as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and His victory over sins and grave for us. Robert will bring the message of hope to the congregation. Children Sunday school and games will follow after Easter breakfast. May the Lord draw us closer unto Himself as we enter the Passion Week and remember His saving grace upon us.

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:9-10, KJV).

Thank God for helping the children through their final examinations. Results will be out later. Long Summer holidays will begin next week. Children are really happy. Please pray for them that they may have a productive holiday until the middle of May.

THANK GOD!
We are back safely to the Christian Home of Love (CHOL). Praise God for the blessed time spent in Singapore with our love-ones and friends. Thank God for watching over everyone at Home while we were away. Everything is fine in the Home. In fact, we have received good reports that everyone had done well in their conduct and actions, lovingly obeying one another, reading the Bible every day, carrying out their daily responsibilities faithfully, keeping the Home clean and tidy and looking after the animals properly. Thank you for all your prayer for them. The Lord has answered them all.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27, KJV).

We are sure many are concerned about Michael. Praise the Lord! He could now walk by himself without anyone supporting him. He looks cheerful. He is able to communicate slowly with the people around him, telling them he is cold; he is dirty; he wants to eat some more, he doesn’t know, doesn’t understand; doesn’t want; quickly; hungry; and he could even ‘scold’ the children or tell them what he wants them to do, etc. On top of these, he could play table tennis with his friends. Praise the Lord indeed for Michael’s rapid improvement. Let us once again remember what Jesus says in Mark 10:27, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” May the Lord help Michael to regain full memory in due time.

We have gone to Hui Pu village this evening (16 Feb) to share God’s Word to the villagers. Dara taught in Lahu about “Who is Jesus Christ?”. If the Lord will, tomorrow morning (17 Feb), we will be ministering at New Pong Hai village. Dara will be teaching the children at 10 a.m. on the same topic. Thereafter, Robert will preach at their church service and Dara will interpret the message into the Red Lahu language. Please pray for wisdom to preach and interpret. May the Lord grant us a fruitful ministry for the saving of souls and edifying of the believers!

Do uphold Grace also in your prayer as she teaches the Children Sunday School on Sunday morning (17 Feb) at 11 a.m. Robert, Dara, Luke, Evangel, Lin and some Singapore friends will be back in the afternoon after New Pong Hai outreach for worship service at Truth B-P Church. Robert will be the Lord’s messenger. Worship service is in English, translated into Thai and Lahu. May the Lord continue to grant us strength and wisdom to fulfill His will in and through our lives every day.

Thank God for your fellowship in the Gospel and partnership in prayer. Let us continue to remember one another before God’s throne of grace, “that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16, KJV).

Please pray for Evangel and Evangeline that after so many activities and much travelling since last December, that they will be able to adjust themselves once again and be disciplined in their studies at home. Do pray for Dara especially as she works on her thesis and meets her thesis advisors, for wisdom to complete her thesis and communicate with her advisors and for strength to cope with other daily duties. Pray also for Robert in his teaching and preaching, planning and preparation for all the activities at Truth B-P Church and at Home. Lord willing, our Discipleship and Leadership Training Course for 2008 will resume soon. May the Lord help us to be ready to impart His Word “to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2, KJV).

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so He giveth His beloved sleep” (Psalm 127:1-2, KJV).

Thank God for giving us more grace to cope with Michael’s accident and supplying us the additional strength to carry out all the Christmas activities successfully in December 2007. Michael’s accident occurred just two nights before the first outreach began. At that time, we were very busy preparing all of us and all the equipment for all the various outreaches. When the accident happened, everything seemed to be in a rush: leaving behind all the preparation work; rushing down to Chiang Mai; reaching the hospital at 1 a.m.; praying through the night for Michael; taking a quick nap in the early morning; visiting Michael after coming out of the operation room; running errands around the hospital, before rushing Home again for family worship and getting things ready for all the outreaches and Christmas worship service.

Thank God for answering our prayer. Altogether, about 400 souls have heard the gospel message during the outreaches. If Michael’s operation was not successful, there would be no outreaches but funeral. Thank God for His mercies. And despite the accident that Michael had, his parents went ahead with the water baptism of their youngest child, Esther (7 months old). God is so good. He knew how to encourage us and used every event to strengthen the faith of everyone who trusted in Him. To God be the glory!

Thank God also for the Christmas cum Baptismal Service on the 23rd December 2007. Thank God that 8 more souls were added into the fellowship of Truth Bible-Presbyterian Church. Among them is Dara’s sister in law, Nop Pha Kaw, a Thai citizen. She was originally from Bangkok, but moved to Fang some ten over years ago and married one of Dara’s brother in 2006. For seven years, ever since we came to Thailand, we have been sharing the gospel to her. After so many years of sowing and watering, God was pleased to give the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:6). Thank God for saving her soul. God willing, her daughter will also be baptised this coming Easter. The labour for the Lord is indeed not in vain. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58, KJV).

We thank God always for all your prayers for us and especially for Michael. God is always good. Michael is recovering steadily. He is learning to walk and eat by himself and he really has a big appetite: eating non-stop. He is also beginning to respond to the people around him although he still could not recognize them by names. Thank God again for his improvement. Please pray that he will regain his memory soon.

Robert and family, together with Grace, are back in Singapore for the Lunar New Year reunion. Do pray for everyone in the Christian Home of Love, especially the older ones who will be overseeing the Home during our absence. Children studying in the government school will still be going to school during the weekdays, leaving at 7.30 a.m. and reaching home at 4.30 p.m.. Dara's sister in law, Nop Pha Kaw, is now the cook for the Home. She comes every day to help out in the Home. John's mother is staying in to help to look after the children too. Pray that all of them will continue to love one another and be faithful in their daily responsibilities. Please remember John in prayer as he leads everyone in the Home in the daily family worship. Being our church deacon, John will also be preaching on the first two Sundays of February and chairing the worship services (begin at 4.15 p.m.). Pray also for the church members to come to worship regularly and for the preaching of the Word of God to minister to many hearts.

How time flies. It seems that we have just entered into year 2008 and now January is gone. What have we been doing for the Lord thus far? It is good that we take a break from the world and ponder over our personal walk with God, as it is written, “if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged” (1 Corinthians 11:31, KJV). May the Lord keep us faithful unto Him always!

“For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone” (Psalms 86:10, KJV).

Thank God again for another improvement seen in Michael to cheer our hearts. Yesterday, he managed to grab hold of a small packet of biscuits in his room, loosen the rubber band and ate the biscuits by himself. He must really be hungry. He could also eat more solid food now as he could chew better and swallow easier. Thank God for His unceasing grace upon Michael and the progressive development seen in his life. “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23, KJV). “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:15-16, KJV).

Beginning today, we will be celebrating the Red Lahu New year at our village for 7 days. Many villages from the mountains will come down to pay respects to us. It is a good opportunity to share the gospel to them during their visits, when after their traditional dance, they will all gather around waiting for the hosts to bless them and what blessings could be better than that of the blessings of God, even the priceless gospel of salvation which is so rich and so free through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26, KJV).

May the Lord be willing to use even this event for the saving of souls. “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22, KJV).

“With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27).

Thank God that Michael is already back home since Monday (7 January). No one could imagine that he could be discharged from the hospital in less than 3 weeks. Certainly, our God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). Praise the God! It is indeed His doing that Michael could recover so quickly.

Michael’s parents are still patiently taking care of him. Every day, they feed him with porridge and water, but it is not easy for Michael to swallow. They also have to clean his waste and wipe his body. It is definitely not an easy job. However, thank God for their love for Michael. May the Lord grant them strength daily to attend to Michael.

At present, Michael is still lying on the bed and could not talk nor recognise the people around him. God knows what is best and surely will work all things out for good to them that love Him (Romans 8:28). Thanks for praying and thank God for answering prayer. “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22, KJV). Keep praying!

Today (Saturday) is children's Day in Thailand. We celebrated it yesterday with our children at Home and will also bring all of them out today (Saturday). Thank God for enabling us to start a children ministry and for the bond we have with all the children He has given us. Thank God especially for saving their souls. We are reminded of what Jesus says in Matthew 19:14, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

We will also be visiting Pong Hai village tomorrow as the folks there invited us for their Lahu New Year. Pong Hai is a new village and there is a church there. During our Christmas outreach there in December, the committee members of the church requested for their church to come under our church’s umbrella. God willing, we will meet up with their church committee today (Saturday) to talk about this matter. Do pray with us as we ask God for guidance and direction in this new outreach.

The church in Pong Hai village consists of a few Black and Red Lahu families worshipping together. God willing, we will be ministering to the people there on the 20 of January. Please pray for all our preparation and for Robert in his preaching in that church (11 a.m. service) and for Dara interpreting the message into Lahu. Prior to the worship service, we plan to start a children ministry at 10 a.m. Do pray that the children will be drawn in and will be receptive to the teaching of the Word of God.

Besides, we will also be ministering at Hui Pu village on the 19 of January (in the evening). Preparation is still on the way. May God grant us the strength to serve Him faithfully.

Thank God that both preachers from Pong Hai and Hui Pu villages and their families have been attending our Sunday worship services. We are also providing training for them to be more effective in their ministries. Brethren, pray for us for wisdom to equip the preachers and to reach out the people.
